Xperia PLAY groups drawn

The groups for the first group-stage for the Xperia PLAY tournament have been drawn and teams have now learned who they will face on Friday.

Earlier today the organizers announced the seeds for Xperia PLAY and are now ready to announce the groups for the first group-stage, they are as follows:

Top two from every group will advance to a second group-stage, which will be played four groups of four teams. Third and fourth place teams will advance to the B-tournament, while fifth placed teams will go on to play the C-tournament.

The groups for the second group-stage will be composed by two top spot finishers and two second place finishers, teams who have already been in the same group, cannot face eachother in the secound group-stage.

The secound group-stage, which will be played on Saturday, will see top two advance to the playoffs. Third place teams will finish 9-12. and fourth place finishers will finish 13-16. at Xperia PLAY.

HLTV.org will be onsite during the entire event, to bring you all of the action from the €20,000 Xperia PLAY tournament, taking place at Copenhagen Games 2011.
